TNS Mock Team is looking for a new captain to take charge of our ship. Being a captain would involve recruitment, scheduling/running practices, preparing and pitching budget proposals to the USS and coordinating travel to invitationals and competition. If this is something that interests you please email [email protected] with your resume and cover letter. Mock trial experience is preferred, but not necessary--a positive attitude and ability to lead is.

Just finished our second day in Iowa and back to NYC. TNS did a great job and we had so much fun! Lots of work and lots of travel so some of our members are taking advantage of our wait for the airport shuttle...

The New School Mock Trial Team is back BABY! Already off to a great start and searching for team members (those interested in being lawyers, acting as witnesses, or simply lending a hand where one is needed). If you'd like to learn how to analyze, interpret, and construct an oral argument via a mock criminal case, or maybe brush up on your public speaking skills, this is the organization for you! We are seeking motivated, passionate, adaptable, and curious individuals to be a part of our team--please send resumes and a brief statement of interest to [email protected]. GREAT NEWS: TNS Mock Trial team officially has its own class at Lang opening Fall 2015, titled "Justice and the American Trial Process" (CRN: 7655; MW 2-315pm, taught by Lisa Huestis). Any one interested in learning more about the American legal system and its process, as well as wishing to compete using a stimulated criminal case while following the very procedures you've been learning and mastering throughout the semester, this class is for you!
