Join the University of Iowa College of Law Fashion Law Society in welcoming Richard Lehv (pictured top left) and Deanna Clark (pictured bottom right). Richard is Senior Litigation Counsel at Fross Zelnick in New York, focusing on trademark and copyright litigation. Some of Richard’s clients include Lacoste, IKEA, and Tiffany and Company. Deanna is the Founder and Managing Partner of Clark-Esposito Law Firm in New York. Deanna focuses on the areas of US Customs law and imports, OFAC and BIS in relation to exports and logistics matters, and FDA, TTB and DEA law in relation to v***r, to***co, and h**p products compliance. She is also the author of the book, A Practical Guide to Fashion Law and Compliance. They will be discussing what fashion law entails and their specific careers in the fashion law industry.

Introducing the University of Iowa College of Law's Fashion Law Society (FLS).

Fashion lawyers perform a range of duties including drafting and negotiating contracts, addressing and litigating trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property issues, and consulting on design protection, import-export, licensing and other issues.

FLS is dedicated to educating Iowa Law students on what the fashion law industry entails.

Anna Wolle (left), a current 1L, is the Founder and President of FLS. Mary Scarpinato (right), a current 2L, will be serving as the Vice President.
