With unwavering resilience, impact, steadfastness, and empowerment, we continue to R.I.S.E., ensuring that the legacy of leadership and service remains strong for generations to come.

We encourage everyone to wear red as part of the Go Red for Women initiative, which is sponsored by the American Heart Association. This initiative was established to raise awareness that cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death for women in America. It is important for all of us to be informed and take steps to protect our heart health.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on January 13, 1913, by 22 collegiate women at Howard University who were resilient, impactful, steadfast, and empowering.

Today, we honor their legacy by continuing to move forward with fortitude, rising to meet the challenges of our time with unwavering commitment to sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action.
