Remember to wear your PINK!

Martin County will join our friends and neighbors across Johnson County in wearing PINK on Monday, August 17, in honor of Carissa and in support of her family.
At times like this, school colors, district lines, and rivalries do not matter. We are one community. We stand together to surround this family, Carissa’s friends, classmates, and all who loved her with support.
We are asking our Martin County faculty, staff, students, families, and community members to wear pink on Monday as a visible reminder that no family in our community stands alone during a difficult time.
To our neighbors at Johnson County Schools and to Carissa’s family: Martin County stands with you. 🩷
Please continue to keep her family, friends, classmates, teachers, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

Our Head Start teachers and staff provide our youngest learners with a strong foundation for success by creating a classroom filled with learning, laughter, and love.
