National Elementary Honors Society students had the opportunity to visit BUTTER art fair for Education Day. Students were able to explore various styles of art and were able to meet some of the artists in the show!

The "Lions Read" program is here!

Lions Read is a fun reading program designed to help our students build strong reading habits and develop a love for books!

Students can count time spent:
📖 Reading independently
🎧 Listening to audiobooks
🗣️ Reading aloud to someone
👨‍👩‍👧 Having someone read to them

Students will track their reading time and earn prizes along the way at 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, and 50 hours! Reading logs can be returned to the library to collect prizes.

Every minute counts. Let’s get our Lions reading! 🦁📚

4th grade was shining today during English Language Arts! 🌟

They were busy strengthening their literacy skills by writing personal narratives, learning how to use similes and metaphors to make their writing come alive, and building their reading skills with their Decodable Reader books.🦁📚✏️

A big thank you to the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana for providing Orton-Gillingham training to our teachers!

We are so proud of our 3rd grade team and ALL of our staff for helping our IREAD proficiency increase by 12.4%! 🎉
