✨ Tiffany here, Victor Wear Co-Founder. Love this video from Temple Grandin, who will be the keynote speaker at our Victor Wear Expo next year! 🎉 Early intervention makes a world of difference. Isaiah’s autism traits didn’t always align with typical signs. He was verbal and social with us but not with strangers. He met most milestones on time, but something seemed a little off. I remember pleading with his doctor for a developmental evaluation at 12 months. The doctor thought I was worrying too much, but the evaluation indicated delays. Years of therapies and support followed: speech, sensory/occupational, tutoring, IEPs, and advocates. We kept working, and Isaiah kept meeting his goals. Today, he’s going to college for game design on a scholarship. He’s happy, confident, and embraces his differing abilities. 💪🎮 It all started with early intervention at 12 months old.
