Be the gold is more of a lifestyle than a motto. 💛

This is based on the art of , where an artist will collect broken pottery and put the piece back together with a gold adhesive. The concept is what was once broke, is not beautiful. And it’s the perfect metaphor for the topic of SV.

We’ve got to work to repair what’s broken. When we get to for each other- we add to each others story. And we create a world that’s better than what it was before.

Found him. 🩵 disclosure is never easy. I was so nervous for so long of how someone would respond to this level of tr auma.

I tell the story of how Chris responded when I shared that I’m a survivor of SA in my keynote- he literally saved my life by asking me a question, “how can I support you?”

He also helped me feel safe enough to share my story in the first place. It wasn’t anything he said. It was how he made me feel. Safe.

Safety is at the core of disclosure.

This is such a big moment and I hope you’re taking time to really feel proud of how far you’ve come.
