September 4, is the magic date and it is quickly approaching (This coming Monday). It looks like the date has been updated from the 5th to the 4th. The final 25 will now be informed on Monday morning in a live-streaming event from 2:00 to 3:00 pm (CEST)... that should be 8am ET.

Our new Cameras are here. After Chris went through several lines of coding.... they are ALIVE!!! and soooo much smoother and responsive than the last set

We have learned that the final 25 teams will be announced on September 5th! As we wait, the students are continuing to add features and well.... fix some others. Today they got the H-Drive back up and running. The device can again slide side to side (imagine sliding into parking spots.... No more parallel parking!)

Crud 😯.... We needed to fit another part into our drive station and well... It doesn't fit 😕. So.... We went back to manufacturing mode 🪚, completely cut all the parts to remake our wood drive station box, stained and sealed it, swapped over all the electronics, completely rewired it, and we are back in business! Lesson learned.... always add a little extra room... just in case 😉

It is so amazing how far this project has come and how it has evolved from a concept on paper to a "near" finished product. The students are so proud of what they have created.

It's ALL about the design process!! Iteration after iteration until it fits like a glove and looks store-bought. Sketches and Concepts to the computer, from the computer to the laser for cardboard prototyping, cardboard to foam core prototyping, and finally from foam core to acrylic. (Example: Inductive Charging Station)
