Southport High School Bands

Wonderful finish for the our year on Thursday night! An amazing last performance from our concert and jazz bands, and we got to perform with next year’s freshmen!

On Tuesday of this past week, the percussionists from Southport Middle School and Southport High School took the stage for our annual night of percussion! Congrats to our percussion director Brantley Heath and all of his students for terrific performances!

Huge congratulations to our wind ensemble for receiving a GOLD rating at the ISSMA State Qualifications today!! This is Southports first time attending this event in over 20 years! Great work by some great kids!!

Congrats to our symphonic band and our concert band on receiving a GOLD rating at the ISSMA organizational contest! With this, Southport High School bands have officially qualified for the ISSMA All-Music Award! This recognizes outstanding achievement in marching band, jazz band, solo and ensemble, and organizational contest. Well deserved for some incredibly hard working students!!

Join us Tuesday, May 5th for our annual Night of Percussion! We'll have performances from our high school groups, solo performances, and from our middle school students as well! Can't wait to see you there!
