Our 156th Anniversary Convention and 35th School of Fraternity Practices took place July 4-7 at the luxurious Hyatt Grand Champions Resort in Palm Springs, CA. It is the Fraternity's biggest gathering of brothers from around the world, and this year's was no exception.

Many thanks go out to the amazing Hyatt Grand Champions Resort staff for all of their help and hospitality throughout the weekend, as well as the many talented volunteers and staff that put an incalculable number of hours into making this the best Convention yet.

All photography was provided by Ryan Tubongbanua (rtphoto.biz), a Theta Chi from Beta Upsilon/Fresno State. In addition to taking photos, he was also his chapter's alumnus delegate. We are so grateful that he was able to share his talents with us.

Congratulations to our brothers at Adrian College, University of Michigan-Flint and Case Western Reserve University for earning the Alter Award! Eleven chapters across the country received this year's recognition. The 2012 Alter Award chapters are Phi, Beta Nu, Beta Kappa, Gamma Rho, Epsilon Kappa, Zeta Beta, Zeta Lambda, Zeta Tau, Iota Beta, Iota Lambda, and Gamma Phi.

Theta Chi again has a presence at the University of Cincinnati following the official colonization ceremony that took place on Saturday, June 2. The University of Cincinnati is the home of the former Beta Omicron Chapter, which has been inactive since 2005.
