Just got home from finishing my workout !So I been a little embarrassed and ashamed about these few pounds I put on since I took a couple months off. Afraid to post pics becuase of others expectations of me. I had been really struggling with my weight loss journey. The last 6 months I was dealing with depression and anxiety at an all time high. Most didn’t know cause most of us are good at saving face. Those who I thought were my friends and support showed their true selves, I was in jeopardy of loosing my home, work was stressful,1st born was away in college, family issues, and on top of that my 16 year old daughter was pregnant. It was a high stress time for us. She was very sick and couldn’t eat and it seemed like I had all the cravings… Then to top it of my body fell sick with FLU and COVID. Life was being life and I was just living. The bounce back has been real. I restarted my journey on Saturday and Today was my 1st workout of the week and even though I struggled through it, I did it! I finished! And I feel great about it! Moral of the story don’t let other’s expectations of you prolong your progress or process… do you at your own pace… set your goals and consistently show up for you everyday however that is!
