People love the story of the “overnight success.”
But they rarely talk about the 10 years before the breakthrough.
The years of building.
The ideas that didn’t work.
The opportunities that almost happened.
The doors that closed.
The times you questioned whether you were doing the right thing.
The months when the revenue didn’t match the vision.
The moments when quitting probably would have been easier.
I’ve been in this game for 10 years, and I can say I still haven’t had what some would call my “big breakthrough.”
But I can feel that something is shifting.
And sometimes, knowing it’s coming is enough motivation to keep moving.
Being a CEO and entrepreneur requires you to keep walking when you can’t see the entire path. You build before everyone understands what you’re building. You keep showing up before the recognition, the big contract, the major partnership, or the moment people suddenly call you an overnight success.
So if you’re building something and wondering why it hasn’t happened yet, keep going.
Your timeline may be longer than you expected, but that doesn’t mean the vision is wrong.
Ten years in, I’m still building.
Still learning.
Still betting on the vision.
And I believe the breakthrough is coming.
When it does, just remember...
