After a rich 33 year history on Indian Rocks Beach, Country Day Montessori School of Indian Rocks Beach will now become the leading accredited provider of Montessori Education on the Beaches for the Fall of 2023 serving students 8 weeks to 3rd grade. It will become a part of CDS Tampa Bay that is recognized as the leader in providing Montessori Education in Tampa Bay including campuses in Pinellas

and Hillsborough as well as the renowned Country Day World School in Largo. The CDMS-IRB mission is to “Nuture, Inspire and Prepare Students to Flourish Globally”. It was an absolute blast hosting our grandparents & special friends at our Bloomingdale campus today! 👏🫂
We welcomed our guests with an original song dedicated to our grandparents, presented certificates for “World’s Best Grandparents,” and enjoyed fun activities and breakfast together! 🥰

We were especially grateful to welcome grandparents who traveled from all over the state to join us. Thank you all for making the trip and spending such a special morning with us!

Learning comes alive in our Montessori classrooms! ✨

Here is what our students accomplished last week:

Toddler Community: Our youngest learners practiced fine motor skills and independence through hands-on activities, building coordination and concentration with every task. 🤲

Primary: Classrooms explored mapping and cardinal directions (North, South, East, and West) while celebrating special student birthday milestones 🗺️🎂

Lower Elementary: Students experienced The First Great Lesson, sparking wonder about the birth of the universe while diving into daily sentence writing 📖

Step into the Carrollwood Campus, where Ms. Marcano’s journey has come full circle. Once a student in these rooms, she has now stepped into her purpose as a Lead Teacher.

Where Global Research Meets Creative Artwork 🎨🌍

We believe art is a universal language that connects us all. That is why our Carrollwood students recently concluded a study of international art movements, moving beyond the classroom to replicate diverse cultural techniques!

The final presentation was a true showcase of interdisciplinary learning. Our young artists paired their original recreations with trifold displays that decoded the history and meaning behind their work. It was an inspiring display of both curiosity and artistic talent! 🌐🤩
