Last month we got the chance to see cownose rays swim along IRB. It was such a beautiful, breezy day. The water was calm and sparkling. We were snorkeling, I saw something moving right next to us, it got closer and closer to us.. I realized it was a ray! But, then.. I saw MORE rays. We swam out of the water to see what was going on… It was just a mini fever of cownose rays just swimming by! They hung out for a couple of hours, munched on some clams, surfed the waves and they went on their way! It was such an amazing experience!

Remember to give marine animals some space anytime you see them! Don’t crowd them or scare them away. It’s their home and we are just visitors.

Ending summer break on a good note!

Someone asked me last week.. ‘Where do I find these teeth??’

Well, where do sharks live? In the water! So, anywhere in Florida, basically! You just have to look! I’ve found teeth all along the Gulf coast and Atlantic coast of Florida andddd the Keys! They’re out there!

Great start to Shark Week! Was finishing up on my walk, just causally checked out a shell pile and this big guy was just lying there.. waiting to be found!

I had to do a double take and make sure it wasn’t a toy!! Nope, just a shiny, well preserved, great white shark teeth! 𓂃𓂁𓂃

What a weekend. We had the ‘no name’ storm that blew in this weekend. Thankfully we just experienced some winds and rain.
