Space Coast Academics Space Coast Academics is a home education program based in Indialantic, FL. Proud to be a direct-pay provider for Step Up scholarships.

We offer classes for homeschoolers, along with private and group math tutoring during the day and evening. My name is Angela Roberts, my family has been involved in the local homeschooling community in Brevard since 2009. I am so excited to launch Space Coast Academics! I attended University of Central Florida's College of Education prior to becoming a full-time homeschooling mom. Through homescho

oling, I discovered that I really enjoy teaching math to my kids. This discovery came after several years of (all of us) struggling through various math curriculums. I am also passionate about US history! I am currently completing my Bachelor of Arts, Educational Studies in Middle Grades Mathematics Education and will strive to become a direct pay provider for the Family Empowerment Scholarship beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. I am so happy to get to work with our local homeschooling kids, I honestly LOVE this community.

A little note from my heart about our SCA community ❤️

SCA has always been about so much more than classes. It is a community—one that I care about deeply and feel incredibly protective of.

As our community continues to grow, I want to ask our families, educators, and students to help me protect what makes SCA special.

There will always be different personalities, opinions, friendships, and even disagreements in any community. But I never want SCA to become a place of sides, gossip, or unnecessary drama. Our students deserve better than that, and so do the incredible adults who pour so much into them.

Please help me keep SCA a place where people feel welcomed, valued, respected, and accepted. A place where we assume good intentions, communicate directly and kindly, and remember that we are all here for the same reason: our kids and this amazing homeschool community.

I am incredibly grateful for our families and for the educators who give so much of themselves to SCA. This community would not be what it is without all of you.

Let's continue choosing kindness, grace, and community—and keep the focus on giving our kids a place where they can learn, grow, belong, and be themselves. ❤️ -Angela

And we couldn’t be happier!

There’s just something special about seeing our classrooms full again—kids learning, laughing, reconnecting with friends, and starting a brand-new year together.
