The Sierra Nevada College Ski and Snowboard Teams showcased their skills this past weekend at the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association’s (USCSA) Great West Regionals at Mammoth Mountain and achieved nothing short of success. Over the course of the two days, SNC swept the podium in nine of the ten individual events, competing against athletes from schools including Stanford; University of California, Los Angeles; University of California, Berkeley; and University of Nevada, Reno.

On top of this individual dominance, Sierra Nevada College also placed first in every team category as it prepares to defend its titles at Nationals in Lake Placid, New York, March 8th-16th.

Unofficially, SNC wins men's national championship (6:14.59) in giant slalom over Rocky Mountain College (6:18.11).

Congrats to Luca Ricou (2nd), Jaka Jazbec (3rd), Viking Roald (6th), Philip Brattstrom, and Marcus Plyhr who overcame heavy snowfall and variable course conditions!
