What a trip! Ider FBLA, along with Valley Head and Geraldine FBLA Clubs, participated in the Alabama FBLA State Leadership Conference. Our students competed in various events, with Valley Head High School and Geraldine High School students placing and qualifying for the National Leadership Convention in San Antonio, TX. Although my students did not secure a placement, I am incredibly proud of their willingness to participate in the tests and presentations they chose. They have acquired valuable experience and are now aware of what to expect. They are eagerly anticipating competing next year at the SLC in Birmingham.

We had a fantastic time traveling with the Valley Head FBLA members and their families, enjoying activities such as beach trips, seafood, pool games, and a visit to Dave and Busters. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the students interact, play games, and have a great time.

I hope my students understand that experiences like this go beyond competing; they are about building new relationships, networking, stepping out of one's comfort zone, and persevering.

Please consider coming to Fort Payne AutoZone to get your car washed for a donation. Car wash is this Saturday from 9-2. Valley Head Business Classes & FBLA and Ider High School FBLA and Business Classes students will be traveling to Mobile for the FBLA State Leadership Convention. We are raising money to help with travel expenses. If you are unable to come to Fort Payne Saturday, please consider giving a donation to VHHS Sponsor Brittany Gilbert or IHS Sponsor Kelly Freeman to go toward the trip. Thank you!!

Come join us at Auto Zone in Fort Payne, this Saturday April 18th 9am-2pm. Get your vehicle hand washed by the best and support Valley Head and Ider Future Business Leaders in this joint fundraising event to help with the cost for the students to compete at the FBLA State Leadership Conference. 💙
