We want to share the wonderful news!
—Ada County Commission ruled that our wedding venue permit be approved! (the appeal was denied)
We are incredibly grateful to Ada County Development Services and everyone who stood beside us through this process. Some of you took the time to attend the public hearings, some wrote letters of support, and many of you simply encouraged us, checked in, and reminded us that what we are working to create at Ripple Ranch is something worth believing in.
Your support meant more to us than we can adequately express.
The hearings were not always easy, and there were times when the process felt very stressful and overwhelming. Seeing familiar faces in the room and reading the thoughtful letters from people who understand our property, our family, and our vision was incredibly encouraging. You helped us feel that we weren’t standing alone.
We are especially grateful that the concerns raised during the appeal were carefully considered and that the Commissioners ultimately upheld the Planning and Zoning decision to approve our permit. We believe Ripple Ranch can be a beautiful addition to our community—a place where people can celebrate important moments, experience the ranch, enjoy the land, and create wonderful memories while respecting the rural character of the area we love.
There is still a 15-day period in which the decision could potentially be requested for review, so we’re not quite at the finish line yet. But this is a **huge milestone**, and we wanted to stop and say thank you.
