We’re on week three of our five week Summer program and it has been incredible! Today was all about trees! We explored the wide variety of trees in Idaho Falls, talked about plant life cycles, and discussed the many ways that trees help the earth.

The Curiosity Cooperative is hosting an Earth Day clean up tomorrow at 12PM at Freeman Park playground. We'll provide gloves and bags - children and adults are all welcome to help. Please join us if you can, we'd love to see old faces and new!

Class Spotlight: Stop Motion Creation!

Our 8-12 year olds have split into teams to create their own stop motion short videos!

One team is creating a world about underwater dragons, trying to wrestle control of the kingdom.

Our other team is busy making cretaceous world - their take on another famous franchise. 

Students are asked to write their stories, create the backdrops and settings as well as the characters and props needed, and then they get to start filming!

The last two weeks of class will be spent editing and recording voice overs. We can’t wait to see what these kids create!
