One of Coach Carrie’s favorite nights of the year 💛HOMECOMING💙

Not only do I get to cheer alongside our amazing alumni but I also get to stand on the sidelines with athletes I had the privilege of coaching during their youth cheer years. There’s something so special about watching these girls grow up, continue doing what they love, and turn into such amazing athletes. Getting to join them under the Friday night lights makes it even more special! Such a fun night and definitely one of those full circle coaching moments that makes my heart happy!

Finally got a HOME GAME last night!
Both our 7th & 8th grade cheerleaders did AMAZING! They kept the crowd cheering, brought the energy, and showed off all the hard work they’ve been putting in! We received so many compliments after the games, and us coaches couldn’t be prouder of these ladies! Keep up the great work, girls — you’re only getting better!

📣💙 What an AMAZING jump & motion clinic we had on Monday with Miss Rachel from Cheer Reform! 💛✨

We spent the evening cleaning up our motions, working on technique, and even learned a new jump count! These girls worked hard, took in so much new information, and had a lot of fun along the way.

We can’t wait to keep working on everything we learned and watch it all come together throughout the season. The future is looking BRIGHT for Ida Cheer! 💙💛📣

Here are your SPOTLIGHT ATHLETES OF THE WEEK from last week!

💙 7th Grade — Miss Madeline 💛
Madeline is such a hard worker! She gives 💯% each and every time. Even when us coaches “aren’t looking,” she is still giving it everything she’s got! Her effort and dedication do not go unnoticed, and we love seeing her continue to work hard and improve!

💙 8th Grade — Miss Paige 💛
Paige has been doing an amazing job adjusting to Michigan style cheer! She always comes in with a smile, a positive attitude, and is ready to try anything new. We love watching her step outside of her comfort zone and embrace everything we throw her way! 💙📣✨

So proud of both of these girls and the effort, positivity, and determination they bring to our team! 💙💛

Last night we traveled to Adrian Madison! Although our football team fell short, our cheerleaders absolutely ROCKED it out on the sidelines! These girls kept the crowd pumped up all night with exciting chants, tumbling, and stunts. So proud of the confidence these girls continue to build each week. Keep working hard, ladies!

✨ SPOTLIGHT ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

7th Grade — Miss Kylie 💛
Kylie really stepped up this week as a leader! She did an amazing job encouraging her teammates and helping them work through those first game nerves. She even chose to stay after her game was over to watch the 8th grade game so she could learn more about cheering on the sidelines. We love seeing her eagerness to learn, grow, and support her teammates!

8th Grade — Miss Aubree 💛
Aubree has been doing an amazing job helping her stunt group learn and grow! She has shown so much patience and leadership while working with her teammates and helping them build their confidence. Keep up the great work, Aubree!
