Oabcig Elementary-Ida Grove Parent-Teacher Partnership Parents and teachers at the OABCIG Elementary School - Ida Grove working together for the betterment of the students.

The OABCIG Elementary Ida Grove Parent Teacher Partnership is an organization consisting of parents, teachers, and administration from the OABCIG Ida Grove Elementary School, located in Ida Grove. The group works together to create a fun atmosphere for students and faculty alike. Fundraisers are held throughout the year including bake sales, NO bake sales, selling items at Homecoming, and the Chri

stmas Tree of Learning. With the funds raised, the money goes towards the elementary school and making it a fun place to be. During teacher appreciation week, parents provide food and snacks and gifts for the teachers. During the week of parent-teacher conferences when the teachers stay late, the group provides supper for them. The elementary school consists of Preschool through 5th grade students in the OABCIG school district.

Welcome Back to School, Falcons!

Welcome back to school! We are so excited for another fun-filled year at Ida Grove Elementary!

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our table at Open House to say hi and enjoy a cookie! We had so much fun watching everyone take their back-to-school pictures in front of our backdrop. A special thank you to Balloon Arches by Graci Kolpin for creating the beautiful balloons that made our backdrop extra special!

Today, we welcomed back our amazing teachers and staff with a yummy pastry breakfast and coffee from The Farmacy. We hope it was a sweet way to kick off the new school year!

We are wishing all of our students, teachers, and staff a fun-filled, safe, and wonderful school year! We can’t wait to see all the great things this year will bring!

This has been another incredible school year filled with many accomplishments for the students, teacher, staff, and the PTP! I am so grateful for all of the wonderful support that our group has received to make these events happen! With that being said, I will be stepping down from my lead position with the PTP. My family schedule has changed this school year, and it is time for me to follow those opportunities. The PTP is looking for a new person, pair, or group of people to help support our school for the 2026-2027 school year. If you are interested in being involved in your student's school by volunteering to be on the PTP, please reach out to Mr. Henderson or any of the PTP Committee Members (Lyndsay Lindberg, Heather Bogue, Kelsie Nettles, Marissa Skirvin).

I would like to thank everyone for their support during this opportunity to serve our awesome elementary school - especially my committee, my family, friends, teachers, staff, and our students! It has been a truly rewarding experience! Our schools - teachers, staff, and students need your support more than ever, so please consider stepping up to help make a difference!

As we near the end of the school year, this is just a reminder to turn in your Our Family UPC Barcode labels. We would like all labels to be turned in by Thursday, May 21st. You can send these labels to school with your student to turn in. These labels are then counted and mailed in. We receive 5 cents for each label that is collected.

Please continue to collect your labels over the summer as well! Also, please share this information with your family and friends to collect their labels as well. They are found on every Our Family product that you purchase at Ida Grove Food Pride. Thank you for your continued support! ❤️ ✏️ ✂️ 💚
