Hutto FFA & Advisor Noël Sherer recognized by Texas FFA!

Congratulations to Noel Sherer and Hutto FFA!

Hutto FFA was selected as the $500 Chapter Grant recipient following participation in Roots & Range: A Texas FFA Heritage Experience during the 98th Texas FFA Convention.

A special thank-you goes to the Sid W. Richardson Foundation and Sid Richardson Museum for their continued investment in Texas FFA members, agricultural education, and meaningful educational experiences. Their generous support helps connect agricultural leadership with Texas history, heritage, art, and culture.

Roots & Range welcomed 86 Texas FFA members representing 17 chapters, creating an opportunity for students and advisors to experience one of Fort Worth’s treasured cultural landmarks.

Congratulations again to Noel Sherer and Hutto FFA! May the $500 chapter grant help create new opportunities for leadership development, agricultural education, and student success.

Thank you, Sid W. Richardson Foundation and Sid Richardson Museum, for helping Texas FFA members continue building a legacy rooted in agriculture, leadership, and Texas heritage.

Proud of this Hutto High School CTE student, Caleb Otto, for taking the initiative to write and submit an article to the Taylor Daily Press. This is a great example of a student using the skills developed through CTE to share their voice beyond the classroom. Great work!

Hutto ISD Digital Media instructor 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻 has been named the 𝗖𝗧𝗔𝗧 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 for the state of Texas!

After being nominated and selected as the Area IV CTAT New Teacher of the Year, Mr. Hennington advanced to the state level, where he was chosen from nominees representing CTAT areas across Texas.

This recognition reflects his creativity, dedication to students and commitment to preparing future-ready learners through Career and Technical Education.

Mr. Hennington will now have the opportunity to advance to the regional level through ACTE, representing Texas alongside educators from Arkansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Mississippi and Louisiana.
