Hutto High School is super proud of Johnny Gutierrez for winning 2nd Place in Action Skills at the SkillsUSA TX State Competition. During this event, contestants show their technical ability and communication skills using visual aids, tools, and demonstrations.

At 4:30 am this morning, the Hutto High School Robotics team ventured off to the “Gateway to the West”, aka St. Louis, Missouri for the VEX Robotics World Championship. Team 78634E, Discount Toasters, will battle against the top robotics teams from across the globe. We wish you the best of luck. Way to go Hutto Robotics!!! (fyi: they made it safely to their hotel at about 7:00pm)

Two Hutto ISD robotics teams are headed to the 𝗩𝗘𝗫 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, competing against top teams from around the globe.

A high school team and a middle school team will represent Hutto in St. Louis, showcasing the skill, teamwork and innovation built through years of dedication.

This is what happens when students are given opportunities to design, build and think beyond the classroom.

Hutto High School and Ninth Grade Center attended the Texas Technology Student Association State Conference and Competition. Several thousand students participated in this event from all across the state, and Hutto had a strong showing. Students received top honors in 2D Animation, Product Packaging, Photography, Robotics, and others. Congratulations to all.
