Celebrate history at our Artemis II watch party! 🚀 🥳 🍿

The U.S. Space & Rocket Center will be offering discounted admission all day and our party will begin at 3:30p.m.! The Apollo Courtyard gates will open Wednesday, April 1 at 4:30 p.m., with the launch window scheduled to begin at 5:25 p.m. We’ll have subject matter experts from NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center on site, and our education team is planning activities for the kids. 😄

Join us as we cheer on five-time Space Camp alumna and Mission Specialist, Christina Koch, Commander Reid Weisman, Pilot Victor Glover, and Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen! 👏

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Changes to Redstone Arsenal Entry Procedures
Effective immediately, the Trusted Traveler Program at Redstone Arsenal is suspended until further notice.

All individuals entering the installation will be required to undergo a 100% ID check. Please be prepared to present valid identification to the guard personnel.

These updated security measures will be in place for at least the next 30 days. We recommend allowing for extra travel time when commuting to the installation. Your cooperation is essential to maintaining the safety and security of our community.

MCDC will be operating on a 2-hour delay on 27 Jan 2026, opening at 0900.

MCDC will be closed Monday 26 January 2026 due to severe winter weather.

We will be closely monitoring conditions and will update for Tuesday as soon as possible.

MCDC Fall Festival is tomorrow!

Due to effects from the lapse in appropriations, and impact to manning levels, effective Tuesday, 14 OCT 2025, the following gate hours will be in effect:

Key Changes (Monday – Friday):
• Gate 1 (Martin Rd East): Normal operations for Inbound and outbound traffic daily (M-F) until 1:30 p.m. Then Outbound ONLY from 1:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Gate 7 (Martin Rd West): Normal operations for Inbound and outbound traffic daily (M-F) until 1:30 p.m. Then Outbound ONLY from 1:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Gates 3, 8, 9, and 10 stay unchanged.
• These changes will not affect the daily augmentation schedule for Borrowed Military Manpower.

Commercial Vehicle Access After 1:00 p.m. M-F:
Effective 14 OCT 2025 at 1:00 p,m, daily (M-F), all commercial and construction traffic must use Gate 9 (Rideout Rd), Lane 8. Please inform all Commercial Vehicle Operators of this required change.
