Building Senda Trades started as a Hail Mary to fix a broken education pipeline. But a massive shift is happening. I used to feel like I was chasing this vision. Now? I am actively being chased by it. For every single step I take forward, it feels like Senda Trades takes three steps toward me.

The momentum is getting aggressive. The industry is bleeding talent and begging for a solution, but everyone else is getting trapped in the friction of expensive, fragile VR headsets.

That's not how we are going to do it at Rambam's Ladder. We are taking the absolute bleeding edge of high-end gaming architecture and forcing it natively onto the phones, tablets, and monitors that millions of people already have in their pockets. No extra hardware. No barriers to entry. That is the entire point: remove all the gatekeepers and reach as many people as possible who want to better themselves.

I’m a commercial electrician building this with pure purpose, not a tech tourist looking for a quick flip. The world needs a massive influx of skilled labor, and the processing power is finally raw enough to train them at scale.

Life has been moving fast — the good kind of fast.

I recently stepped into a new role as Craft Training Coordinator at MMR on one of the largest data center builds in this country right now. What makes it surreal? The work I put into building Jolt and Rambam's Ladder has bleed from isolated to being one of the reason I'm sitting in that seat — it opened doors I didn't know were in front of me.

So yeah, I'm busier than I've ever been in my career. But if you've been wondering whether Jolt is still being actively developed — it is. I will personally negotiate a 25-hour day from G-d if that's what it takes, to fix a bug or push a new feature.

The one I'm most proud of: "The Math" is now built into every conduit bending calculator — Offsets, Saddles, Rolling Offsets, and Stub-Ups. Every one of them now has a collapsible section that breaks down the formula step by step. Not just the answer — the why behind the bend. If you're an hungry apprentice grinding to learn, this is for you. If you're a journeyman who just wants to double-check the numbers, this is for you too.

We also dropped a fully rebuilt Field Manual synced directly with the live site, a more reliable sign-in system that actually works on every device, and meaningful improvements to offline stability — because you're not always going to have signal in that sub-basement and the app needs to hold up.

Quick story. I remember being the new guy. Knowing exactly what a rolling offset is but having no idea what to do with the rise and roll numbers in front of me. Not wanting to ask because journeymen aren't always in the mood to explain, and asking the wrong question at the wrong time can follow you for a year.

That's what's driven the last few months of updates to Jolt.

Every conduit bending calculator — offsets, rolling offsets, saddles, stub-ups — now has a section called "The Math." Tap it and you see the actual formula with your real numbers plugged in. Not just the answer. The reason behind it.

Running a 30-degree offset with an 8-inch rise? The app shows you the multiplier is 2.0, that your mark distance is 16 inches, and why — because 1 ÷ sin(30°) = 2. Do that enough times and the formula starts living in your head, not just your phone. A 45-degree offset? Multiplier is 1.414. Rolling offset? That's Pythagoras — rise² + roll² under a square root, live with your numbers.

The goal isn't to make you dependent on an app. The goal is to use this until you understand it without it.

I also want this tool to work for every person on the job site — not just the ones who speak English. So we built Quick Phrases: about 80 job-site phrases across Safety, Instructions, Tools, Measurements, Inspection, and General — English on top, job-site Spanish below it, and a speaker button that reads the Spanish out loud so you can hand your phone to a worker and he hears it in his own language. No guessing. No pointing. One-third of my trade speaks Spanish, but the "pro" electrical and reference apps are all English only. Why? 🤷

I’ve been quiet on this page recently because we are in the middle of a massive shift. The goal was never just to build an app; it was to fundamentally change how the trades operate and learn. When you are splitting your time between commercial stadium builds and launching a startup, you don't have alot of extra time to post fluff.

Here is exactly what we’ve forged over the last few months:

A actual headquarters: Rambam’s Ladder officially has a brick-and-mortar office. We took over the decommissioned teachers' lounge at Old West Huntsville Elementary. For an education and trade tech company, you couldn't write a better script. G-d is pretty amazing.

Jolt en Español (May 2026): Nearly 1/3 of the construction workforce speaks Spanish, and somehow, nobody is building tech for them. That is insane to me. I am fixing it. By the end of next month, Jolt will have a 100% authentic Spanish translation. We aren't just relying on AI to do it—it has to be perfect for the guys in the field, so we are doing it right.

Show up on my job site able to read a tape measure without thinking twice, hand me a Unistrut strap before I ask, and strip wire without nicking the copper… brother, you’re already a superhero. I want you on my crew yesterday.
