24 out of 40 of my students this year were able to participate in recital, and they did a great job preparing for this day! So much growth in musicality and techniques were made this year. Great job students in your performances, and thank you parents for supporting good practice habits at home! That makes all the difference!

Hey my friends! I have great news!! I have gone through the full process and have been officially approved individually to be a provider of private piano lessons under the Choose Act for the 2026-2027 school year!
This means that anyone can sign up for piano lessons with me and use their Class Wallet funds whether or not they are connected to Calvary Baptist Academy! This is great news!
You can find my studio’s name, LMG Piano Studio, on the vendor list online.
It would mean the world to me if everyone could like this page and share the news with others who might be considering lessons in the Huntsville area!

More spots ready to be filled! Ages 5 and up, beginner through late intermediate — I have a spot for you! Message me to get started!
I was inspired by our director at church who took this amazing orchestration, “Ukrainian Bell Carol”, by Kurt Heinecke and made it for the big band and 4 pianos. I got the orchestration and arranged it similarly, but for only 4 pianos with 5 pianists. Each part was written to be at the playing level of each student assigned to it. So pleased with how this turned out and the work these students put in to learn this! A couple of the pianos are a little older and out of tune, but it was fun playing with them!
Proud of this third grade student for being eager and determined to develop skills far beyond her level at the beginning of the fall! Crossing hands for arpeggios, shifting hand positions throughout this longer piece, using the pedal for the first time, and keeping her cool under pressure — many reasons to be so, so proud. Great job by this student and her parents encouraging her practice!

Music and the holidays go hand in hand!
The Christmas concert “season” is wrapping up for me tonight with our Winterlude! I’ve enjoyed every second playing these holiday tunes, but now’s the time to start making our plans for the next year’s musical/personal goals! Let me know if I can help!

Exciting news!! My schedule is allowing for new students to join my studio! Whether you are new to music entirely, still beginner level, or later intermediate -- I have a spot saved for you!
Those joining this January will still have the opportunity to prepare and participate in our end-of-the-school-year recital; and we're so thankful that all the details have been worked out for those with Choose Act funds to be able to use that to pay for lessons hosted by Calvary Baptist Academy. This is a blessing that has made lessons more accessible for our families!

Hey friends! Don't miss out and spread the word! It’s open enrollment for the fall semester for private piano lessons! Beginner through late intermediate students are all welcome. Whether they've never participated in music, participated on and off, or have been regularly practicing -- I want to help them start their new journey in developing this "new language" of music. Music is an important skill to develop and really helps with self-expression, discipline, and confidence building!
Lessons during the school hours until 5pm will be held at Calvary Baptist Academy (all are welcome to come within those hours but spots are limited!). I also have limited availability on Mondays and Tuesdays after school hours for in-home lessons for students in the Hampton/McCullen Cove neighborhoods.
Lessons are 30 minutes long, and rates are as follows:
$500 per fall semester (16 weeks total)
Payments can be split up to $100 at the beginning of each month (August - December)
