The Huntsville Band Alumni Association is seeking high school age, dedicated, responsible, friendly volunteers to help set up, serve and clean up at our annual band scholarship banquet. We are needing volunteers for Nov. 3 at Carrol Electric, Huntsville from 7pm to 9pm to do unloading and table setup. Then volunteers to help at the banquet serving, clean up and loading Nov. 4th (black pants and white shirt is desired for the servers). Start time to be determined and end time usually by 10pm. Please contact Sara Jane Reeves at 479-409-4852 for information no later than October 20th. The HBAA will give a volunteer letter for your service hours. Thank you.

I have at least 6 tickets to the Huntsville Band Alumni Scholarship Banquet /Silent Auction. If you would like to be a guest to attend please contact me (Sara Reeves at 479-409-4852). Tickets have already been paid for. The banquet is this Saturday October 1 at 7pm, Carroll Electric in Huntsville. Contact me soon (no later than Wednesday at 6pm. You must have an advance ticket to attend. Formal attire not required, full meal and dessert/ beverage served.

Hello to all our HHS Band Alumni! We are seeking items, gift certificates, theme gift baskets, baked goods/home canned jelly Jam baskets, craft items and whatever else you can dream of for the Annual HBAA Scholarship Silent Auction. It will be held at the Scholarship Banquet October 1 at 7pm Carroll Electric. If you are able to donate please contact Sara Reeves 479-409-4852. The banquet is by reservation only so if interested in a table we have a few left! Going fast though! All the proceeds go for Scholarship money for graduating high school band student(s). Your support of any level is greatly appreciated! We also accept monetary donations. As you can see last minutes of the auction gets a little crazy!

It was a great night for a great cause. Thank you so much to all the contributors and to all the silent auction donors and to all the ones that donated in their bidding! Thank you also to all our volunteer Servers. You did an awesome job! Thank you to the Board and committee for all your hard work. Thank you to John Worley for donating and smoking the brisket and to our corporate sponsors for the donation of other food and beverages. Thanks to the continued support the HBAA was able to give 4 scholarships this year. Picture to come later but the recipients of the scholarships were: Cordell Templeton, Jon Williams, Cameron Mason and Nicholas Edens. We wish all these young people the best!

Ok band students. The Alumni is having their annual band scholarship banquet and silent auction this Saturday September 7th at Carroll Electric. Our group that usually helps serve and stuff can not be there. We are seeking volunteers to help for scholarship credits starting at 3 pm and staying to help after the banquet to pack up. Usually 9:30 or so. Please contact me at 479-409-4852 as soon as possible if you are able to help. Please share this post.
