Sharing the results of your research is one of the most important parts of participating in Undergraduate Research! Come to Room 111 in the Salmon Library today (Wednesday, 3/4) from 4-5:30PM to learn how to improve your presentation skills by listening to students share their research through short presentations. Feedback provided by Dr. Saunders from the Communication Arts Department.

Today is Research Horizons Day! Stop by the CGU between 11AM-12:30PM today (Tuesday, 3/3) to talk with 50 UAH undergraduates who have participated in research! Learn about their projects AND how YOU can get involved!

Stop by the CGU today (Monday, 3/2) between 11AM-1PM to talk with member of some of the academic student clubs on campus. Academic clubs are a great way to get started in undergraduate research. See you there!

The H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) offers the ISyE Summer Undergraduate Research Scholars Program, a 10-week summer program during which talented undergraduate students conduct full-time independent research under the direction of an ISyE faculty mentor. The Summer Undergraduate Research Program provides an opportunity for students to develop research skills and build their professional networks with faculty from the top-ranked industrial engineering program in the US.

Eligibility:

Located in the Atlanta area for Summer (note: program does not provide housing to participants)

Rising juniors and seniors (college or university level) majoring in engineering, math, science, computing, or a related field

Program Details:

Program dates: June 1 to August 7

20 hours per week for ten weeks

$3000 stipend

Students are responsible for housing, transportation, and meals
