So proud of Isaac!
Alabama A&M University junior Isaac Smith has been named a finalist in the national Pass the Baton conducting competition, earning an opportunity to lead a professional orchestra in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Smith, a music education major from Mobile, Alabama, is one of five collegiate finalists selected from hundreds of applicants nationwide. He will take the stage April 28 at 7:45 p.m. at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, where he will conduct the Symphony of the Americas as part of the competition’s final concert.
