Last night was a powerful moment for the Tennessee Valley Defenders.

We proudly celebrate our Founder and Executive Director, Mirael Parker, for being officially recognized by the City of Huntsville for her visionary leadership, unwavering faith, and life-changing impact on student-athletes and families across our community.

This honor is more than a resolution. It is a reflection of years of sacrifice, commitment, and a relentless belief in building something greater than yourself. Through her leadership, hundreds of student-athletes have been given opportunities, doors have been opened, and lives have been transformed.

From the Tennessee Valley Prep Sports Academy to the Tennessee Valley Defenders, her mission has always been clear: develop the whole person-academically, athletically, and spiritually.

Huntsville didn’t just recognize a leader. They recognized a legacy in motion.
