Join STEM Cell HSV Owner and Lego League coach, Chris Burnham, as we work together to build an epic working roller coaster! Throughout the weeks we will act like a real construction crew with materials specialists, architects, and build engineers. With the additional builds from our Lower Campus class, we can create an entire CPA theme park together! Begins January 12th.

This art class, led by artist, Julie Bloom, will utilize different materials such as, acrylics, colored pencils, pastels, paper and other found objects, to create unique masterpieces by your child. We will focus on several elements of art, developing control and imagination using different techniques. Projects may include textured samplers, use of color and more. We may even combine some of these projects with art history in a thoughtful, fun and creative way! Begins January 15th.

Join CPA Reading Coach, Ms. Kim Ward, for this beginner cursive writing class. This class introduces 2nd–4th graders to the basics of cursive handwriting in a fun, supportive way. Through guided practice and engaging activities, students will learn proper letter formation, smooth connections, and simple words and sentences while building confidence and fine motor skills. Begins January 15th.

In this beginner Spanish class, led by CPA Spanish teacher, Mrs. Lizet Barrett, students will explore useful vocabulary and phrases through games, songs, and creative activities. The goal is for every student to feel confident using Spanish from day one, all while discovering the joy of learning a new language and culture! Begins January 15th.

Learn to play the recorder while discovering how music works! Join CPA 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Miiko Gibson, for this 7 week music class. Students will explore notes, rhythms and beats through fun games and hands-on playing. Students will learn to read music, build good playing habits and gain confidence as young musicians- all while having fun making music together! Begins January 13th.
