FTPP / Alabama Space Grant / CSPAR hosted a high school visit on April 22nd!
During a recent visit to the Center for Space Plasma and Aeronomic Research (CSPAR), around 24 students in the โI LEAD, YOU LEADโ program experienced one of our favorite IMAP activities.
As part of this visit, primarily sophomore and junior students, engaged in the IMAP โAchieving Orbitโ activity. The lesson introduced key rocket principles, including thrust, propulsion, and staging.
Throughout the session, our graduate students offered the students a glimpse into the world of space science.
