Congratulations to our brother Rodney D Daniely on graduating from The Ohio State University with his Master’s in Global Engineering Leadership! 🎓🔥 He is our Associate Editor of the Sphinx and Co-Advisor for the Rho Chi Chapter seated at UAH.

Brother Daniely was the only graduate in his class for the program — a true testament to his hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.

Spring ‘20 continues to raise the bar, and we are proud to celebrate this incredible achievement with our brother. Your dedication reflects the aims of Alpha and the standard of Delta Theta Lambda chapter.

On this past Tuesday, the Delta Theta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. hosted our first Voteless People is a Hopeless People Candidate Forum. Voteless People is a Hopeless People is a national program of Alpha Phi Alpha focused on encouraging our communities to get out and vote while emphasizing the importance of voting as the voice of the people.

We want to thank all of the candidates who participated, as well as everyone from the community who came out to listen, engage, and be a part of the conversation.

Moving forward, every first Tuesday at 6:00 PM at the House of Alpha Complex, we will host our Voteless People is a Hopeless People Civic Engagement & Candidate Forum. These nonpartisan civic engagement conversations will focus on the importance of voting, community involvement, and staying informed on issues impacting our communities.

These forums are open to the public, and we encourage everyone to attend and be engaged in the democratic process.

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of our dear brother, Mark E. Barkley. His presence, wisdom, and unwavering bond of brotherhood will never be forgotten.

May we honor his legacy by continuing to uplift one another and live out the principles he stood for each day. Rest well, Brother. 🕊️

THERE GO AN ALPHA MAN!

This past weekend, Brother Chief of Staff Christian Williams and Brother Damien Green served as guest speakers for the Huntsville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. at their Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence (E.M.B.O.D.I.) Summit.

E.M.B.O.D.I. is a national program designed to address the educational, social, and emotional challenges that young men of color may face. It serves as a motivational platform for African American teenage males, with the ultimate goal of increasing awareness and understanding of the issues impacting young men today.

We are proud to see Alpha men continuing to lead, mentor, and pour into the next generation.
