Lampstand athletes were racing well at the Chainbuster Racing “The Flow” mountain bike races this weekend. Missy Goebel took 2nd place honors in the women’s sport class for 3 hours and her husband Heath Goebel took the top podium spot in the sport class for 3 hours. Dave Purinton grabbed the top grand masters spot in the 6 hour event.

Lampstand Labs crushed it at the Chainbuster Racing Big Ring Challenge today. The Goebel dynamic duo of Missy and Heath both took the second podium spot in the 3 hour grandmasters category and Dave Purinton won the 6 hour grand master title.

It may seem counter productive to NOT train, but I have taken a 2 week, completely off the bike rest the past few seasons and I can say I am a believer. I really feel I come back well rested and there are likely physiological and mental benefits I don't even realize.

The Lampstand Labs Team put in around 100 miles today of solid training.
This is a well established ride for anyone interested.
The Team had another great weekend of performances on mountain bikes. Team members took 2nd place podium spots at the NICA race at Tannehill Iron Works as well as the Chainbuster Arrowhead 6 Hour Event. Well done Team!
