What a powerful night. We worshiped, walked through prayer stations, and ended with prayer time for our sweet Grace.
This is how we opened up our prayer time for her:
Some of you know Grace Anderson personally. Some of you may not. But she is one of ours. She’s part of this community. She is in our Campus Life family. And right now, she and her family are walking through something incredibly heavy.
Her mom shared an update, and honestly… it’s a lot. There’s fear, uncertainty, pain, and a road ahead that’s really hard. And when it’s someone you know—someone you’ve laughed with, sat next to, seen show up here—it hits differently.
And in moments like this, it can feel like there’s not much we can do. But that’s not actually true.
We can pray.
And prayer isn’t small. It’s not a last resort. It’s powerful. It matters. God hears every single word, even the ones we don’t know how to say.
So tonight, we’re just going to take some time to pray for Grace.
This doesn’t have to sound perfect. You don’t need the “right” words. You can pray quietly in your seat, you can sit in silence, you can whisper something simple like “God, help her.”
We’re going to pray for healing.
We’re going to pray for strength.
We’re going to pray for peace for her and her family.
And we’re also going to trust that God is near, even in something this hard.
So wherever you’re at tonight—just take a moment, be still, and talk to God. You can pray out loud or silently to yourself. But let’s surround Grace and her family with prayer.
Let’s not let tonight be a one time thing. Keep praying and taking to the Father.
