The Opening Word is a literacy, ESOL and job readiness program.

Today Opening Word - Amityville - hosted the first of two Wellness Fairs taking place this week.
20 (!!!) community partners provided resources, health screenings and facilitated activities for our students - from cholesterol screenings and hearing screenings, to guided mindfulness practice and yoga, to health insurance enrollment, a cooking demo and A LOT more, it was all happening today.
