The Rezaid.org Winter Clothing Drive is happening now through the rest of October. Please repost and clean out your closet and drop some "Gently Used" winter clothes to our shop Monday-Friday 9-5pm. If we happen to step out we will leave a box at the front door. Thank you in advance for being of service.

This collaborative piece has been generously donated to our auction by The Trudell Family. Word by John Trudell from his poem "See the Woman." Oil painting on canvas by Daisy Trudell. Hand made and blessed prayer beads of the poem by Tara Trudell. So much love in this piece. So sacred and personal, for family, for women, and for all people. ❤️

We have two big boxes of donated baby clothes, diapers, and formula packed up and ready to ship to a few young moms with new babies on the Pine Ridge rez. It will cost about $50-60 to ship these boxes, and if our generous followers chip in we can get that amount together easily and hopefully get then shipped this week. We're talking small donations, $1 or $5. If you can give $5, leave your mailing address and we'll send you some stickers and buttons. PayPal to [email protected], and we will post again to let you guys know when we have received enough to pay for the shipping. Thank you, friends!! ❤️❤️❤️

RezAid recently had the opportunity to share some love back on the East Coast with our friends at The Warrior Fund. We asked some of our amazing SoCal artist friends, including Tim Hendricks, Skinhead Rob, Jen Davis, Beto Redfeather, and Julie Bolene, to contribute original paintings to the show. The Warriors Fund art show and silent auction raised over $9000 dollars for the community food pantry at Wounded Knee District School on the Pine Ridge Reservation. We are so proud of them and so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of something so awesome!!

We were super fortunate to receive an amazing donation of 18 brand new backpacks from our friend Kara and her coworkers at Morgan Stanley. What an incredible gift!! It's so refreshing when big companies take time to care for the little guys.

Thanks to everyone who follows RezAid. We don't post very often on Facebook because Facebook charges organizations money for people to see their posts. Even if you LIKE our page with the intention of keeping up-to-date on our information, Facebook won't put our posts in your feed unless we pay for it. Our last post about the Easter egg hunt donations has only been seen by 8 people, even though 316 people follow us on Facebook. We are a not-for profit, NO profit, grass roots organization. We put every penny of our money into paying shipping costs to get donated items to the Rez, and we don't have an advertising budget. Although most of you won't see this because we are not paying Facebook to post it... If you can, please follow us on Instagram where we post frequently and for free. Thanks, friends ❤️

We don't have time to do a supplies drive for this one, but it's SUPER easy to donate directly to the Youth Center by purchasing items on Amazon and shipping them directly there. They will be having their annual Easter egg hunt on April 4th and they need plastic eggs and candy to fill them (and any other little Easter extras you may want to send). When checking out, enter this address: Rose Fraser/Oyate Teca Project Youth Center, PO Box 316, Kyle, SD 57752. If you order soon, standard shipping will get it there in time. A few clicks, a few bucks, and a few minutes of your time is gonna help some good people in a great community. Thanks, friends ❤️
