Mindful Moments
Anxiety is known as fear of the future. Worrying about things that have not happened. Worrying about things that may never happen.
It’s a feeling most have experienced. It is problematic when anxiety affects your day-to-day activities for living.
When you feel anxiety coming on, try the following grounding techniques.

There are many times in life that you will acknowledge that you are afraid. The key is to accept and then walk through the fear. Some people believe they can simply tell themselves to not be afraid or pretend that they are not fearful. Your brain knows better. Once you acknowledge the fear, you will be empowered to move through it. The best part, you are not alone!

Mindful Moments.
Close your eyes. Take a few full breaths, in and out through your nose. What is one thing you have been dreaming of but put off because of the time it would take? Now, imagine what it would look like if you were following that dream. What does it look like? How are you feeling inside? Take a breath and really feel it. Who is there celebrating your success? What doors have opened as a result of following this dream?

Mindful Moments.
What made you jump out of bed this morning? What goal did you set? Is it big enough to get your heart racing with anticipation and your blood pumping with passion?
The Japanese concept for "what gets you up each day" is Ikigai (生き甲斐), which translates to "reason for being" or "reason to get out of bed in the morning". It represents finding joy, purpose, and motivation in daily life—often found in small rituals.
