The next Coalition of Surf Club event is the Oceanside Longboard Surfing Club on August 8-9, 2026 at the Oceanside Pier Southside. Liveheats.com is accepting registration at this time. Cost is $135.

Another event from Doheny Longboard Surfing Association is the Surfin' 60s at Doheny State Beach on June 28, 2026 Live heats.com is accepting entry fees at this time. The cost is $35. You will have to surf on a board made in the 1960s. They will have boards to borrow if you do not have one that you can use.

Thank you all who could join us Sunday for our monthly gathering. Getting together to remember those who are no longer with us sparks a lot of talk story. Wendy Storey Sahagen, Gary, Dennis, Grace, Trevor, Mark Waring, Mark, Glenn and Deborah were in attendance as we honored our club members with some great stories. Happy Memorial Day!

Mickey Munoz was honored with a statue of his Quasimoto stance in Dana Point. Paul, Dale, Bobby Zee, Bill Fury, Randy Lyford and many others had us reminiscing.

Derek will be representing the Huntington Beach Longboard Crew Surf Team at Steamer Lane Santa Cruz Memorial Day weekend. It is on www.liveheats.com with Derek's heat at 9:30 am this Saturday.

June 6 is Lee Love's paddle out and memorial on the Northside at 9am.

Our next gathering is on June 21 at Zack's.
Summer kick off for Sano Tuesdays.
