Wow! Love the interest in this. Interest from Pike Central, Southridge, Forest Park, Northeast Dubois, Wood Memorial, Heritage Hills, and possibly Barr-Reeve.

There could be a possibility of a Holy Trinity team as well. Since they do not have a high school, the money would go towards a baseball program for the Middle School.

For the past few weeks, I have been in touch with a few alumni from our area schools about an alumni tournament to be held next year. I believe there is enough feedback/interest to start this.

This will be different than other alumni games in other sports. The goal of this event is to raise money for these programs as well as make a fun event/atmosphere in the area.

More details will come as I begin to work on it; however, some potential details are as followed:

-Players need to be 10+ years removed from High School

-Depending on number of schools who participate, 2-3 games guaranteed (Pool Play or Double Elimination)

-In order to play on a team, must be an alumni of school, have a child in school system, or may be a teacher/coach of school .

-7 inning games with a 2 hour time limit

-Games to be played at League Stadium (with other fields in play if needed)

-Winning team earns money for program (could allow where all participating schools earn something)

-If successful, rotate host school each year (however League Stadium offers alcohol aspect for fans)

Open to other suggestions. Message me if you would like to play and which team.

Currently working on a 3v3 basketball league. 6 potential captains are working on putting teams together.

10 regular season games plus a tournament at the end. $75 for a team. That’s $25 per player.

Plus winning team gets $150.

Hopefully, season begins end of month.

Tennisball at the men’s softball field tonight at 6:30. Who is in!?!

No basketball tonight. With the beautiful weather, we are playing wiffleball at south side park at 6:30. The park is located on Park Drive on the south end of Huntingburg.
