I'm sure it won't surprise any of you to hear that our very own Mr. Harold had been chosen as CMS School Crossing Guard of the Year!!! 🥳🎊🎉

Representatives from Mecklenburg County and CDOT will be at Barnette Elementary on Monday at 8:00 a.m. to recognize and congratulate Harold for his outstanding service and dedication to the safety of our students, families, and school community.

PTO is giving him a monetary gift. We wanted to put this out there in case anyone else wanted to contribute.

Stop by the Bradley Spirit Store tent while you are there and every Barnette family will receive a free gift! While you are there check out the music from 4 different high school bands competing. It’s sure to be a fun break in your day.
This will be the official 1st chance for you to check out what’s ahead in our feeder pattern and to see all the hype about the Bradley Spirit Store until you really get to middle school. 😉

‼️Son Night - LAST CALL!! 🎳

Join us for SON NIGHT at SpareTime - Huntersville Sunday, May 17th 4-6pm. There are TWO ticket options - so please read carefully:

Option #1: $12.50 per person - includes 1 hour bowling, shoe rental, and $5 arcade card

Option #2: 16.50 per person - includes 1 hour bowling, shoe rental, $5 arcade card, AND a game of laser tag

**EVERYONE participating needs a ticket (students, parents, etc.); spectating adults (i.e.: adults who are not bowling) do not need a ticket

**DEADLINE: Monday, May 11th. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door or after this date!!! We provide final numbers to Spare Time on Tuesday the 12th so there will NO EXCEPTIONS to this deadline!!
