Not the better safe than sorry privacy hoax again!!!

The post is not real and copying and pasting it into your status will not do anything.

To clarify Facebook's existing policies, one already owns their intellectual property on their Facebook-- intellectual property meaning photos and videos.

Based on copyright, Facebook does not own intellectual property.

However, that does not mean they can not use them.

Under Facebook's Terms of Service, it says "You grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any IP content that you post on or in connection with Facebook (IP License)."

That means Facebook can use, distribute, or share your material based on your privacy settings.

They do not need approval, because, by signing up for Facebook and agreeing to the Terms, you already gave them that approval.

Until you delete intellectual property or delete your account, you are still under this Facebook contract.
