Have you noticed that most of our Sunday Sillies are brought to you by Ben himself? Well, it’s hard not to feature him when he keeps making faces like THESE! 🤣

How such a pretty horse can look so absolutely ridiculous is beyond us! One minute he’s handsome enough to be on a calendar, and the next he’s making faces that make us question everything. 😂

Today’s Sunday Silly may be more appropriately titled “Problem Child of the Week: Caught in the Act” 😅

And who else would earn that title other than Benjamin himself?! 🤦‍♀️

Just casually trying to take a chunk out of the hitching post… because apparently he wasn’t getting enough attention and decided he needed to create his own entertainment.

Because why simply stand there when you can remodel the hitching post with your teeth?!

Throwback Thursday with CSE! 🌵🐴

Have you ever wondered who Oakie’s very first lesson was? Well, you guessed it… our little assistant, C**t!

This TBT takes us back to their very first pee-wee barrel run together, just over 6 years ago! SIX YEARS?! Where has the time gone?!

We already knew Oakie had a pretty strong “motherly” side after having lots of babies, but we were really hoping she’d also have a good “babysitter” side to her. Lucky for us, she absolutely LOVES the kids!

Although, we’re still not entirely sure if she’s actually “babysitting” them… or if she’s trying to mother them instead.🤷‍♀️Either way, Oakie has always had a special way of taking care of her little riders, and watching her and C**t grow together over the years has been pretty special!

Now she gets the chance to meet all sorts of new kids too, and as long as she gets a treat from you, she’ll love you too😉

Today’s Sunday silly takes us way back into the archives with the late Sammy boy.

There is SO much happening in this one picture that we don’t even know where to start… The giant yawn, the tongue sticking out, the glowing eyes from the flash, the perfectly perked-up ears, AND the knocked-down fly trap in the background. What was happening here, Sam?!

This is definitely one of our favorite silly pictures of Sam because it captures his personality perfectly. He was absolutely full of personality…just in case you couldn’t tell.😉

We sure miss this silly boy, but we’re always grateful for the ridiculous memories and pictures he left us with. 🥹🐴💚

🌵 SUNDAY SILLIES AT CSE! 🌵

As we all know, Ben absolutely DESPISES being clean. His ideal lifestyle would be to stay caked in mud 24/7, thank you very much.

So naturally, we just had to capture his despair after a full bath AND braiding session. Doesn’t he look absolutely thrilled? So happy. So enthusiastic. So grateful for all of our hard work making him look presentable. 🤣🐴

Just look at that face… that is the face of a horse who is already planning his next mud bath…Don’t worry, he was dirty again within 24 hours of this photo proof😂

🌵 THROWBACK THURSDAY! 🌵

Today’s TBT is brought to you by the one and only Benjamin!

But wait… 👀

DO YOU NOTICE HE’S RUNNING?!

And not just running… RUNNING FAST?!

We were all shocked. Ben was shocked. Honestly, I’m not sure anyone was more surprised than Benjamin himself! 🤣

This was Ben’s FIRST EVER barrel race entry, and he did SO well! 🥹 He showed us that there is definitely some speed and potential hiding underneath all that “problem child” personality of his. 😂

Ben eventually decided he didn’t want to be a barrel horse for a while, so we’ve put the barrels on the back burner until our plates are a little less full. But don’t count this boy out just yet! He’s got great potential, and when the time is right, we’ll be back at it!

Until then, we’ll just keep reminding Ben that YES, buddy…you really DID run that fast and you can again someday😂

Tell Me About It Tuesday!

Did you know we have barn cats at CSE? 👀 Did you also know that said barn cats are probably the N O S E I E S T barn cats ever?!

If they know you, you better believe they want to know EVERYTHING you’re doing. What are you carrying? Where are you going? What are you working on? Can they supervise? 👀 They are basically the unofficial CSE management team.

Of course, their “stranger danger” is STRONG. They’re much more likely to disappear faster than you can say “kitty!” if they don’t know you. But once you’re part of the crew? Congratulations—you’ve been approved for barn cat inspection!

So, yes…we have horses, but they aren’t the only four-legged employees keeping an eye on things around here…literally 🤣
