Our group of volunteers have reserved the Joe Sheldon Shelter House for July 31, 2027, for our class reunion celebrating our 55th anniversary of graduating!

Sheldon Park has several cabins that are available that weekend as well as camping facilities which can be reserved at mycountyparks.com.

Let us know if you have had an address change since the last reunion so that we can contact you!!

Hey Classmates!! Start thinking about the 55th Class Reunion!! Ideas we have so far include the indoor/outdoor venue at Sheldon Park on a Saturday evening, having a meal catered? So far the summer of 2027 is looking pretty open if we do Sheldon Park. Would love having some feedback on dates! Also would love having some volunteers to assist with planning, etc.!!

Class of 1972, please keep Cindy Westfall Pratico and her family in your prayers. She is currently at Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion receiving comfort care. Louise Hauck and I were able to visit with her this afternoon.

A big thank you to Dave Heim. Thanks to his recent donation, we will be able to grant a scholarship in 2028!!
Just a reminder that we try to pick a descendant of the Class of 72 for the scholarship. If you have a grandchild or great-grandchild graduating please let us know so that we can consider them!

A big thank you to Kevin Callahan. Thanks to his recent donation, we are able to grant a scholarship in 2027!! If anyone else wishes to donate, you can make your check payable to the Humboldt Community School Foundation with a notation "Class of 1972" and mail it to Gayle Fokken, 909 8th Ave N., Humboldt, IA 50548!

The HHS Class of 1972 currently has $868.42 in the Scholarship Fund. That is enough to fund one $500.00 scholarship this year. What are your thoughts on:
1. Making this the last year for the scholarship and donating the leftover funds to the Foundation to be used at their discretion; OR
2. Asking for more donations to keep it going; AND
3. What was decided about future class reunions? Know there were some that wanted to have a reunion with other classes, but haven't heard anything on that. If anyone is interested in a 1972 reunion in 2027, we will need volunteers to get it going.
