Join me as I make an anchor chart for tutoring today. You can see at first I thought I was going to make a fancy title in pretty lettering so I did it in pencil first. By the end, I was over the fancy lettering idea and just scribbled it in. ⚪️ I think the most important part about learning this math, specifically the angles that result when a parallel line is cut by a transversal is figuring out the language, breaking it down. So you can see that I colored the interior of the parallel lines yellow, so when we talk about alternate interior angles it’s easy to identify which are the interior, and that “alternate” just means either side of the transversal.
So when you break down each set of angles this way, based on where it is located: on the interior or exterior, on the same side or alternate sides of the transversal, it gets easier to see the relationship between the angles. ⚪️ Let me help make math easier for your student. I’m booking tutoring and homeschool math classes now.
