Gathered in His Name 2027 is coming to Orlando, Florida!

This isn’t a homeschool conference. It’s a gathering of families coming together to worship, pray, be encouraged, and seek the Lord together. This year, the word on our hearts is Equip. We’re believing for a meaningful time of refreshing, connection, ministry, and making room for the Spirit to lead.

I'm not cut out for this.

Have you ever said those words? One minute you're floating on air—confident and sure that you are doing exactly what you are supposed to be doing—and the next you come tumbling down to ground in a crashing halt. You question everything. One comment, one person, one mistake, one setback shouldn't be what you define success by, it shouldn't shake you . . . and yet it does. Everything that felt solid and was filling you up now feels deflated, empty, and uncertain. And you are left with the question: who am I doing this for?

We strive and try and work and persevere in all the things (business, ministry, family, homeschooling), yet if we're not careful, the slightest opposition can bring us to a grinding halt. It is in moments like these that I find myself almost desperate to hide in my prayer closet: away from the noise, the voices, and the opinions, in the presence of the One voice that matters. It's like a sudden case of vertigo where I don't know which way is up anymore. Or like Inception where I have gone a few layers too deep and am trying to figure out what is real and true.

For the one who feels this right now: The world does not need you to conform, it needs you to transform. You are not called to fit in to people's expectations of you, but to walk confidently in obedience to the call. Yes, it would be easier to throw in the towel and walk away, but the world NEEDS what you carry, and that means being strong and very courageous. Get back up, go on a date with your husband and laugh a little, and then carry on—His mercies are new every morning ❤️

I’ve been praying about this for quite some time. Gather ’Round has grown far beyond what I ever imagined, and with that growth comes the need for new leaders who can help steward what God has entrusted to us.

Today, we’re opening applications for two key leadership positions:
• Director of Growth/Marketing
• Production Manager

We're looking for leaders. People who know how to lead teams, think strategically, create systems, and help more families discover resources that make homeschooling both meaningful and joyful. People who care about results, but care even more about the people behind those results.

This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of Gather ’Round and expand our reach to homeschool families around the world. You don’t need to be actively looking for a new position to reach out. In fact, the person we’re looking for may not be searching at all.

And if this doesn’t sound like you, perhaps it sounds like someone you know. Many of our customers are connected to incredible leaders, business owners, marketers, and executives who share our faith and our passion for Christian education. If someone comes to mind, would you consider sharing this with them?

We’re praying that God brings exactly the right person at exactly the right time.
