Thank you 56G families for coming to our first ever walk-thru event! It was so fun to meet so many families before the start of the year. Since we were busy connecting with so many different people, we didn’t capture many pictures. If you took some pics while touring and would like to share them, please post them here! Over the summer, we love seeing and hearing about how our students succeed in areas that we don’t get to see in school! Today was one of those days where we got to support on of our sixth grade students summer businesses and enjoy delicious breakfast sandwiches as we finalize last minute details for the first day of school! Thank you for filling our bellies! The breakfast sandwiches were fabulous!

Congrats to Mr. R’s & Mrs. Scholten’s homeroom class for winning the sixth grade kickball tourney. Thursday was the perfect day for this fun event! A special shout out goes to Mr. R for filling in as a long term sub for us and pouring into our sixth grade kids! We appreciate you! We ended the 25-26 school year with our clap out for our sixth grade students! Leading the pack were two dedicated educators with a combined 53 years in the trenches of teaching HPS students! Thank you to Mr. Leonard and Mrs. Teal for pouring your hearts into our students over the years. You will be greatly missed! Happy retirement!

We had our last round of tours for incoming fifth grade students last night! We are so excited to welcome our incoming students and families. Our fifth grade student leaders did a great job again presenting to our incoming students and families. We are so proud of them for their leadership and willingness to step up out of their comfort zones. You made our tours fantastic!

It was another great field day for fifth grade students! Congrats to Ms. Burmeister’s class for winning the tug championship! Also, congrats to Mr. Leonard on his last successful field day as he is retiring at the end of this week. Thank you to the PE department for a wonderful event! It was the perfect day to come together at Eagle stadium!

The and choirs did a phenomenal job last night their spring performances! We are so proud of their hard work and getting to this point! Thank you to Mr. Ross and Mr. Hansen for all of their time preparing for and guiding our students this year! We appreciate both of you so much for all that you do for the HPS music program!
