Welcoming the HHS Class of 2031!

Today was our annual Fly-Up Day, and we had a blast hosting our rising 8th graders at the high school!

The future Hawks started their morning hearing from an incredible panel of our current HHS students, who shared all the amazing opportunities waiting for them next year—from clubs and competitive sports to exciting elective classes and student leadership.

After the panel, our high school students led the 8th graders on a full tour of the building, giving them an insider’s look at their new home for the next four years. It was a fantastic glimpse into their upcoming high school careers.

We are so excited to welcome you all in the fall. Get ready, incoming 8 —your high school journey is just getting started!

We are incredibly proud of our HHS Seniors who recently completed their Senior Internships!

This program gives our students invaluable, hands-on experience before they even cross the graduation stage. We are immensely grateful to the local community partners who opened their doors, shared their expertise, and mentored our students this year.

Paid Summer Internship Opportunity

Are you 16 and looking for a paid internship over the summer?  CVS, in partnership with Youth Connections, is offering a limited number of internships starting June 29th - August 22nd. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10AM - 3PM.

Check out the flier above (and in your school counseling Google classroom) and scan the QR code to complete the interest form.  Feel free to of course let your counselor know if you are interested!

Today, our Junior students stepped out of the classroom and into the "Real World" at our annual Reality Fair!

Each student was randomly assigned a career, a starting salary, and a (sometimes stressful!) credit score. They then had to navigate the "Game of Life," meeting with local community vendors to budget for:

- Housing & Utilities
- Car payments & Insurance
- Groceries
..and all the unexpected curveballs life throws your way!

It was a day filled with "Wait, how much does it cost to live on my own?!" and "I think I’ll stick to the cheaper option for now." 😅

A huge thank you to our amazing community partners for helping our students practice the ultimate life skill: Budgeting! Our Hawks are leaving a little more "life-ready" (and maybe a little more appreciative of their parents' bills!) today.

Our Early College students headed to Worcester State today for an incredible on-campus experience!

It was a busy day for our Early College Hawk students as they:

✅Received their Worcester St. Student IDs
✅ Dove deep into future pathways and programming at Worcester State, as well as other state schools and The New England Tuition Break
✅ Attended their college class right in the university classrooms
✅ Explored the grounds on a full campus tour

Seeing our students thrive in a university setting is a great reminder of how prepared they are for the next chapter. A huge thank you to for the warm welcome and for giving our students a true taste of campus life!
