Boy, to say this past weekend was a blast would be an understatement! We decided to make the trip up north due to Brayden’s graduation on Saturday, and let’s just say the drive was more than worth it.

Before we get into the results, we want to give a huge shoutout to John Bazille and the entire Northern Show Circuit crew for putting on an extremely well-ran show. Sometimes you don’t need 300+ pigs to make a show successful. Like Bob Peter said, “good people need to help out great people,” and that’s exactly what this weekend was all about.

We hauled 7 pigs up north, and all 7 came home either Champion or Reserve Champion. To say we are pumped would be an understatement!

Oh… and one of the highlights of the weekend may have been Brayden Peter officially coming out of retirement! 😂

We’re excited to be a part of the WSPA Fundraiser Auction this year and have donated two lots we think bring a lot of value!

Use this credit toward purchasing show pigs this season or put it toward semen—whatever best fits your program.

Lot 40 – Lease Gilt Opportunity
This is a lease gilt out of our January Crossbred or Hampshire litters. We’re really excited about this January set and wanted to offer someone the chance to come in, sort through the gilts, and pick one that can compete from State Fair through the fall. With only one showman here and a few too many on feed already, this gives someone else a great opportunity. If you win the lot, we ask that you come out as soon as possible to sort through the set—and if you’re lucky, maybe you can talk Bryce into getting her broke before she leaves! Below are a few preview pictures of gilts that would be available, along with some of their littermates!

Now that we’ve had a chance to catch our breath from this past weekend, we just want to say THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone who reached out, bid, or bought something in our sale last Wednesday, and to everyone who stopped by and walked through the barn this past weekend. We truly appreciate all the interest and support.

Even though we’ve had two online sales, we still have a great selection of private treaty pigs available. If you’re still on the hunt for a November or December pig, we still have a couple of really nice ones left.
