After one semester together, we’re so excited about the progress we’ve seen in hand strength and writing skills! 😍

Camp plans! Counting down the days for Pencil Pals camp!!

Back where it all started! We ❤️ Horn!

A simple yet effective way to build fine motor skills, encourage bilateral coordination and strengthen those little pincer grasps 🖐️

Have your little one use both hands to pinch small pieces of playdough, then practice rolling them into little balls

Interestingly enough, it is a pencil weight.

Why use pencil weights?

For starters, it offers feedback to know where your hand is and how much pressure to use while writing. Next, it offers an opportunity to strengthen the muscles in your hand. Lastly, the weight can assist with focus offering “heavy writing” work.
