As we continue celebrating National Speech-Language-Hearing Month, The Parish School and The Carruth Center speech-language pathologists shared the items they like to use during therapy. Whether itโ€™s a classic game or a hands-on sensory tool, our SLPs utilize an array of tools to not only support communication and growth, but also have fun! Jayda is a talented social-emotional support specialist whose warmth and empathy has created a safe space for Parish students to come to her when in need. Caring for furry friends ๐Ÿพ

The Rangers class transformed their pretend play area into a veterinary clinic! During the lesson, the Rangers practiced teamwork, problem-solving and creativity while caring for their stuffed animal patients through pretend play. The class also had the opportunity to listen to veterinarian Dr. Clare Zandy read โ€œThe Grumpy Petsโ€ before asking questions about her work caring for animals. Great job, Rangers!

Happy Spirit Week! ๐ŸŽŠ

Spirit Week at The Parish School brought in plenty of fun and creativity on campus! From fun socks and hats, to comfy pajamas and favorite colleges clothing, our students embraced each theme! We wrapped up the week proudly wearing our favorite Parish shirts!
